Micro ATPs of field workers revised and shared with stakeholders
The field staff of MEDP follows an Advance Tour Plan (ATP) for their weekly door-to-door visits to the households in villages. To further plan this ATP, we have divided the day into three sections - morning, afternoon and evening.
The visit of field staff is further divided into tolaas, mohallas etc. of the village. This helps in better monitoring of the staff and villagers are better informed upon the time and date when they can expect a Village Malaria Worker (VMW) for Track, Test and Treat of malaria. Hence, now known as a micro-ATP.
This exercise involved the entire district – 1233 villages and 235 VMWs, the ATPs have now been frozen and shared with all the relevant stakeholders including Directorate of National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme New Delhi and Government of Madhya Pradesh at both state and district levels.
