ASHA needs assessment and IEC/BCC KAP assessment data collection completed for Balaghat district
MEDP Mandla conceptualized a study to assess the needs of the ASHAs for achieving malaria elimination in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. Alongside, an IEC/BCC KAP assessment for the community members of this district was planned. This month, MEDP completed the data collection for these two studies in collaboration with the Chief Medical and Health Officer and District Malaria Officer of Balaghat District.

This month, four more manuscripts were published as part of the MEDP thematic series in the Malaria Journal. The titles of the manuscripts are as follows (Figure 1):
1) Assessment of ASHA for knowledge, diagnosis and treatment on malaria in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh as part of the Malaria Elimination Demonstration Project
2) A comprehensive mobile application tool for disease surveillance, workforce management and supply chain management for Malaria Elimination Demonstration Project
3) A model for malaria elimination based on learnings from the Malaria Elimination Demonstration Project, Mandla district, Madhya Pradesh
4) Improvement of Indoor Residual Spraying and Long?Lasting Insecticidal Net services through structured monitoring and supervision as part of the Malaria Elimination Demonstration Project in Mandla, Madhya Pradesh
