Business India is a fortnightly business news magazine founded in 1978 and is published out of Mumbai. The magazine planned a special CSR supplement to celebrate 41 years of its successful run (Figure 2).
Since MEDP is a public private partnership project between Government of Madhya Pradesh, Indian Council of Medical Research, and the Foundation for Disease Elimination and Control of India, which is a CSR initiative of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. MEDP was featured as a full-page article in the magazine’s August 12-25 2019 issue.

ASHA training module.
Following up to the needs-assessment of ASHAs in malaria, all the ASHAs of the district were trained by MEDP. It was requested at the 3rd Malaria Elimination Advisory Group meeting at ICMR-NIMR in New Delhi that a comprehensive ASHA training module should be prepared by the project.
Hence, a training module for ASHAs in malaria has been prepared by MEDP and approved by National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. The module contains relevant course material along with methodology of training including pre/post training assessments based upon the learnings of MEDP Mandla. It is available in English and Hindi and will soon be uploaded on www.fdeci.org
