2018Malaria trainings for all the ASHAs of Mandla
Government of MP organized block-wise trainings of all the ASHAs of Mandla under the Ayushmaan bharat programme. FDEC India was invited to participate in these trainings. Out of the 9 blocks, 8 blocks were covered in the month of May 2018 and we participated in all the trainings. We also distributed job-aids to all the ASHAs. These pocket-size booklets contain the basics on malariology, RDT procedures, tips on LLIN and IRS, complete drug regimens for all types of malaria infections as per the GoMP guidelines etc. Hands-on sessions for the correct procedure of performing a Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDTs) were also conducted. Feedback was recorded for all the sessions and shared with the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Mandla.
